It is great there is a cycle path along the side of Wallingford Road now but as it is relatively narrow so the vegetation needs to be kept back. This morning while negotiating some of these overgrown bushes by moving towards the edge of the pavement a bus came past at speed less than a foot from my handlebars with the draught causing me to temporarily lose control and fortunately veer into the bushes. I wonder what the consequences would be if I had veered towards the road.

The vegetation is still a huge problem on this stretch, forcing cyclists either to veer dangerously close to the kerb, get a faceful of cow parsley, or use the road itself and hold up traffic.

This path had a lot of time and money spent on it to widen etc to just be left over grown and nearly unusable there’s also a massive build up of mud and stone from the farm where there tractors can’t turn the corner

Still a problem. The shared foot/cycle path is overgrown and dangerous to use. If there isn't budget to maintain, it's probably worth removing the shared status.
