  • Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

  • Could the investigation be speeded up please?

Surely it doesn't take two weeks to carry this out?

Posted anonymously at 12:51, Tue 25 June 2019

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 13:06, Tue 9 July 2019

  • Still not been investigated.

I suspect when it eventually has been, then there will be another wait of at least 6 weeks before any work commences.

  • This road is really quite bad, there are some seriously sized drops on the left hand side as if you are leaving Ardington which have the potential to rip tyres / damage suspension components, Especially as the road isn't massively wide......

  • Thank you for your report. Unfortunately it's not suitable for immediate repair but we have forwarded it to our Asset Renewals Team who will consider it when planning their future works.

  • What!!!!! You CLEARLY need to go to specsavers.

I suggest you go look at the MASSIVE pothole just prior to reaching the A417 main road, and ALL the other potholes and other road defects that this report refers too.

Is it any wonder no one has any faith in OCC?

  • Surely if I can fit my size 11 foot into one of these potholes, with plenty of room to spare, then it clearly meets your criteria for it needing to be fixed. One of the other photos shows a different pothole on the same stretch of road. Not being funny but for you to say that’s it’s not yet suitable for repair indicates to me that no one has actually bothered looking!!!
