Approx 10m of failed road, heavily pitted/rutted and with potholes
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:07, Fri 7 June 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
10m of heavily rutted and pitted highway interspersed with numerous potholes. The area is on a bend and is the state of the highway (wearing course) is dangerous to vehicles and cyclists. Vehicles/cyclists tend to move into the middle of the road to avoid the worst section of the road (and likely damage to vehicles/bikes) which leaves them in a precarious position due to the vicinity of a blind corner which could have oncoming traffic. Vehicles/cyclists have the choice of risking potential damage/injury through running on the road or facing oncoming traffic. Needs to be reviewed and road repaired/re-instated. Note the Banbury Road (into North Newington) is busy at peak times with parents dropping off to school and school buses running - increasing the risk of an incident.

Terrible state of beginning of wykham Lane in Broughton. We have just moved to the village 6 months ago. We are appalled by the road surface as you enter our road. There must be about 8 holes and breaks. It is taking its toll on our tyres and suspension. The whole area needs re surfacing and not just patching which has been done over the years. After speaking to various people on the parish council they have tried to get this fixed before but nothing happens. I would like someone from the council to come and take a look
