Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 14:48, Tuesday 4 June 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

The connecting footpath between the Cleave and the entrance to Cherry Tree court, Church Lane, Harwell. and the cemetery adjacent to One the Cleave, Harwell. An electrical emergency occurred at the beginning of 2019. It was solved immediately, by the replacement of equipment underground by the Electricity team. They left the footpath to be resurfaced with tarmac. This has not been done. the large shallow hole was infilled with dirt and a plastic orange fence surrounds it. It is dangerous in the dark and restricts access on the footpath, outside a warden assisted premises.

  • The above surfacing has been completed. thank you.

I was told by the team at the time of work (5-6 weeks ago), a contractor would remove the safety fences and the triangle warning signs an hour or so after work was complted. The signs are still obstructing the footpath and have not been removed. Please remove asap.
