Cope Road, Banbury

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 10:17, Friday 24 May 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

I have received many complaints of dangerously tall trees from residents of Cope Road, Banbury but particularly the very tall tree located on the pavement by the property of 15 Cope Road, these very tall trees are growing out of the pavements in Cope Road, Banbury . Please can I ask as Oxfordshire County Councillor for Grimsbury & Castle for trees to be de-crowned as residents have complained that tree branches are snapping off in the wing and hitting residents homes and cars and I feel strongly that if one of the trees were to be hit by lightning this situation could be very serious. I have attached a photograph of the tree located on the pavement by 15 Cope Road. Please can I ask for an answer on this matter and a officer's attention into this inquiry.
