We have been looking for this stop valve ever since we moved in around 35 years ago and have never been able to find it, it looks like when the path was first tarmacked they went right over the top of it and it is only now that the path has started to sink a little with age that the shape of the cover is just visable,it is the same size and shape as my neighbours and in the same location on the path. We have a plumber coming this Friday the 24th who will need to get access to this valve for work that is being done inside the house. I know that it is very short notice but it was only yesterday that we noticed the very slight rise in the pavement and discovered where it is!
