The branches of these trees are blocking the view of on going traffic and also the electric cables overhead. They need cutting back urgently

Hello On the 26th of June my wife made a report about the damage the tree in question was causing . Today 30 July I was advised that this complaint was closed , however the resolve is in the overhanging branches which is a separate complaint, and the highways department seem to have ignored our original complaint. I was also told that the highway officer in charge had visited the location and considered that the branches were of no concern which may be the case however had the highways officer taken the original complaint, they would understand that the tree roots are causing damage to the road and more importantly damage to our garden wall and foundations and possible drainage. If the officer that went to inspect the branches problem an experienced highways officer would have noticed the very visible damage and taken appropriate action instead of ignoring the original complaint. When I phone to advise that this issue is unresolved your representative advised that this matter was closed , he also on a number of occasions advised that the officer is very busy , for the record we are also very busy, however I expect a more professional approach to this matter.l would like to set up a meeting with the highways officer at your offices or on site to get this resolved as I am advising you that you are delaying the works planned at the property and appear to not take our complaint seriously.
