Slug pellet use on roundabout

Reported anonymously at 15:02, Sunday 19 May 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 3 minutes later

Some one planted plants on roundabout and has used copious amounts of slug pellets. Worried about cats, dogs and wildlife being poisoned by them especially Hedgehogs. I am also concerned about mis-use of chemicals in public areas if these were applied by in qualified persons.

Council ref: ENQ19833479

  • Thank you for your report. I have offered advice to the person who applied the slug pellets and been assured it will not happen again. Tried to remove the pellets that were still in situ but there were just too many. However this is due to be watered which will make them ineffective. This report is now closed.

State changed to: No further action
