Potholes/uneven carriageway surface at traffic signals

Traffic signals below the A34 near the Westminster Way junction, when travelling to Cumnor Hill from City - whole surface of the outbound lane seems to have chamber covers/surfacing degraded/sunk to clatter smaller cars and cyclists - risk to highway safety.

  • Thank you for your report. With reference to your comments about "Potholes/uneven carriageway surface/surfacing degraded", these smaller potholes & degraded and uneven carriageway surface , unfortunately, don't meet our current intervention criteria, so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor these during our routine inspections. I have, however, marked up the worst pothole for repair. Regarding "chamber covers/sunk to clatter" We have looked at it and found that it was a duplicate of another report. This original report was referred to BT Openreach, who are responsible for this manhole cover.
