Area off St Georges Road and Barncroft
Reported in the Grass category anonymously at 16:15, Thu 16 May 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
The area outside of my house and on the corner of St Georges Road is a disgrace. It was strimmed a few weeks ago but of course the weeds are now about 12" high again. I used to keep this area tended and mowed and it looked very respectable. However, whilst the gas repairs were being carried out in our area it was used as a dumping ground for vehicles and machinery, from which it has never recovered. The ground is completely uneven and there is no grass at all - just enormous weeds and unfortunately I am not able to pull them out. Please will you send someone to rectify this area for me as it does not look at all pleasant for neither St Georges Road or Barncroft?

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately there is nothing that I can do about the verge surface but I have made Wallingford Town Council aware of this issue as they cut a number of the Oxfordshire County Council, Highway verges (in Wallingford) on our behalf. They have offered to discuss further if you wish to contact them on 01491 835373 or by email to admin@Wallingfordtowncouncil.gov.uk. This report is now closed.
