Cars Constantly Speeding & Mounting Pavements
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 11:35, Wed 15 May 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
On Church Road in the location where there are two bus stops on opposite sides of a very narrow residential road plus on-street parking and 2 bus routes with double-decker vehicles travelling in both directions to contend with, there are NO speed signs at all along the length of the road and NO zebra or pedestrian crossing points. Pedestrians are at risk constantly when crossing the road and even when waiting for a bus or walking in the village. This is a constant issue, and when you are walking on the pavement, drivers shout and swear at you if you hold your ground on the pavement. Please can something be done before someone is injured. I witnessed over 15 vehicles this morning within an 8 minute time frame mounting the pavement beside where I was standing, as they refused to wait for the bus to pick up passengers and move along the road.
