Street light number 5 outside 22 Meadow Close is not working.

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 18:19, Tuesday 7 May 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The footpath at this point is now very dark. You've "fixed" light number 6 twice instead of number 5. Don't waste your time and money again. Just fix the correct one, NUMBER 5 OUTSIDE 22 MEADOW CLOSE.

  • It is now over your 7 days commitment for fixing lights. People living in this area are now leaving the security lights on all night to light the footpath. It would have been fixed on the 6 May if your team had gone to the correct column. The mistake should have been corrected immediately. Can you tell me when it will be fixed.

  • Sorry that this hasnt been rectifed as of yet and fully appreciate this should have been rectified on the 6th. I have escalated with our contractors who would have until the 20th to get this fault rectifed. I am hoping as this has already gone to a PDA system that this is rectifed before this date. Sorry again that our process has broken down on this fault

  • On 17th May you hoped it would be fixed by the 20th. It's now the 27th. Still not fixed. And to further my annoyance, I received a questionnaire email from you today asking if it had been fixed. I would have moaned again earlier but have been away. I was really expecting it to be fixed when we returned. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this ASAP as my wife is getting on my nerves when every night she announces, "STILL NOT FIXED!".

  • Sorry that this hasnt been rectified, i have escalated to our contractors and explained this repair is well over due. I think Fix My Street automatically sends updates which is also frustrating so apologies for that also. I will continue to pressue our contractors as this i appreciate isnt good enough

  • Yet another week has passed since your last communication. This is now ridiculous. What on earth is going on. Your system for following up such issues is non existent and your contractors are as good as useless. I expect you now to give me a definite date by when it will be fixed, I suggest by 7th June. Get back to me ASAP with a date.

  • Sorry that this is still outstanding, i have escalated with our contractors management as this isnt good enough on our part, i will ask that this is attended as soon as possible i hope today

  • Still not fixed. I have not received a definite date from you. Only a hope that it would be fixed yesterday. I would now like to escalate this. Please supply me with your manager's contact details so I can make an official complaint. We've waited long enough.

  • Thank you for your report and sorry that this has to be escalated, i have been assured a team will be attending tonight and will also check other columns in the street to ensure all are left working. The best way to make a complaint is through this form , this will then go straight to the top above our manager level and to senior and member level at OCC generalcomplaintform Any issues feel free to keep in touch via fix my street
