Sinkhole on the path. 2 foot deep. In danger of further collapse

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 16:02, Monday 6 May 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Sinkhole on the very edge of the path which looks as though it is in danger of further collapse and taking the path with it. 1 foot wide, 2 foot deep! I could see that the tarmac overhangs part of it. Very dangerous as it is just to the side and so you don’t immediately see it from a distance. It is about 300m from the edge of Faringdon.

  • All I can say is that I was walking between the farm and Faringdon. A large orange cone had once been placed there but when I passed it the cone was on the side in the grass. I don’t know if it’s still an issue as I don’t live there anymore
