Thames Water works re-instatement
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:34, Sat 4 May 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Where Thames Water have excavated to put services across Thame Road, the infill trench is subsiding.
There is a marked depression to the left side of the road and the trench across the whole carriageway has collapsed. Cars travelling to Thame are crossing to the other side of the road to avoid the worst part of the defect.
This has been the case since the start of the year and is progressively worsening.

Must be damaging a lot of cars, especially ones with smaller wheels. How much longer can it take?

This was reported by me on 13 Sept 2018. (See below) All you have done is transition to a new FIXMYSTREET system and closed all the outstanding issues.
This is a utility repair that is progressively getting worse. Vehicles that regularly use this road are now trying to avoid this pothole and sometimes this can be dangerous with oncoming traffic due to the speeds on this stretch of road. There is also a constant danger of vehicles overtaking at this point which further increases the risk of an accident. This pothole has been reported previously (ref. 805129) but please account for the problem becoming worse.
