Recent road resurfacing along Main Street undertaken by Drayton Construction Ltd, has resulted in a connected series of blocked drains due to back filling with scalping material on North side of Main Street. All drains running from outside of following properties La Burnham Cottage/Little Barn/Berry Lane junction/Sunny Bank/2 to 9 Medway through to St James House are effected (Total 16 drains). Many of drains have no sumps and as a result the scalping have blocked the basic gullys.
