Parking at The Murren
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 13:38, Thu 25 April 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Please can someone look into a solution to the cars that park on the junction outside The Murren, you cannot see cars coming either way when pulling out and I've had numerous near misses. I understand that it's the people who live in the houses on the junction parking there but it's really dangerous. Also can you please look into putting speed bumps or cameras down Reading road in both directions as people are driving very fast.

Thank you for your report and apologies for delay in response. There are 'no waiting at any time restrictions' (Double Yellow Lines) that are fully enforceable by Thames Valley Police, it should also be noted that vehicles parking in a dangerous position are committing an offence under Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1998 which also should also be reported to Thames Valley Police. I regret that Oxfordshire County Council would not be able to fund the implementation of traffic calming measures at this time

Hi, Thanks for the update. Unfortunately the yellow lines have been removed since the new road surface was laid so please can these be reinstated?
