Broken manhole cover in pavement.
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category by David Cooper at 23:39, Wed 24 April 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
This was reported twice on Friday 12 April and also by ourselves on Saturday 13 April, marked URGENT. No action has been taken so far, despite the danger of someone falling into it, especially in the dark. I have temporarily placed a new pedestrian steel cover over the hole, which has made it safe for the time being. It is marked with my name and contact details so that it can be returned. I understand that Fix My Street isn't designed for urgent cases, but it would be helpful if there were some instruction what to do in such a situation.

It's not at all clear how to get an update on the original report. The problem has NOT been fixed. It still has my temporary cover on it, which I would like back or replaced.

This cover and surround was replaced about four weeks ago, following several reminders. However, the cover that I placed over the hole temporarily has NOT been returned to me. It is marked clearly with my name, address and contact details and I expected that it would be returned at the same time as the repair, which would have been a lot easier all round. Please will you let me know when my cover will be returned, I hope in the very near future. This issue has been going on for nearly five months now and is extremely frustrating.
