One street light has been dead for over a week. This makes it difficult to see whilst walking on the pavement or approaching houses in the vicinity. Safety and security issues for neighbouring properties

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • Street light is number 110 on your map. Located outside 95 Green Close, Didcot. A standard sodium- discharge (orange light) street light. Still not working. I have tried to upload a photo showing this one not working whilst all the others in the background are bright orange. This is twilight, when it is really dark you can’t see the lamp post.
