A few cones and an arrow sign are supposed to represent a roundabout. But this roundabout arrangement is not clear at all, especially at night. About six weeks ago, there was an accident here caused by the confusing arrangement. About two weeks ago I reported on this website the undesirable roundabout layout and the accident. Last night, I saw another accident at the same roundabout, with two cars hitting one another in a frontal collision. The debris can be seen in the three attached photos. Whatever measure it was taken after my report two weeks ago, it was not sufficient to stop the latest accident and it will probably not be sufficient to stop the next accident. Some urgent action will need to be taken to avoid further danger and injuries to drivers and passengers. So far, I have seen two accidents at the same spot, more could have happened without my knowledge. Someone has to take responsibility to stop these accidents. It is really unfair to the drivers who were involved in these accidents because of the poor road arrangement. E.g., there is a big Give Way sign for cars coming from Cherwell Drive towards Headley Way (towards the hill) but that sign is partially blocked by another yellow sign in front of it. The positions of the signs were not well thought through. There are other contributing problems which need overcoming.
