Erosion of pavement in Ascott-u-Wychwood.
Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 10:58, Monday 15 April 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
The pavement (outside No 25 London Lane, Ascott-u-W) is elevated from the road by approx 0.5m. However, due to collapsing of the verge (caused by large vehicles having to mount the verge when passing opposing vehicles) the pathway is crumbling away to such an extent that it is only just usable with a pushchair. There is no alternative path on the opposite verge and to use the road is far too dangerous! The erosion is just prior to a bend, and to use the road would necessitate walking for approximately 100m before being able to re-access the pavement.
