Unacceptable surface of road patching work

Recently the area of the A417 in Stanford in the Vale, specifically between Joyces Road and Ware Road has been patched to alleviate some of the worst pot hole and surface break up areas. The new surface of those patched area are absolutely awful. They are not smooth at all, in fact in every area of the surface patching on both carriageways it's like driving on a continuous rumble strip. It certainly isn't acceptable considering the volume of traffic that road carries and falls way below usual good road surface. May I suggest that the contractor who was engaged to carry out this work be dropped from your contractor list as their standard of work is not acceptable. The rectification of this bad work will cause a second lot of disruption, hold ups and annoyance it wasn't done properly in the first place. Thank you.
