The slope/angle of this disabled access dropped kerb is too severe

I’d like to report a poorly designed pavement ramp. It’s outside No 1 Winterbrook on the Reading Road (on the Bradford’s Brook Bridge) and is one of those bobbled concrete sloping structures for disabled access. The problem is it’s angle - it could potentially cause a wheelchair or pushchair to topple over when accessing from the Winterbrook end. Coming from the hospital towards Winterbrook it’s slope is too steep for a wheelchair to go up and safely turn on the pavement. It’s slope/angle needs to be adjusted significantly. Thank you.

Thank you for reporting this. We will have a look as part of the Road Safety Audit. However, the crossing was installed on the existing footway, so there might be limited opportunity for changing it too much. If it is dangerous, the Road Safety Audit will pick it up as an action.
