Temporary Traffic Light causes more confusion to unclear roundabout
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 23:42, Mon 25 March 2019
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Further to my report entitled 'Roundabout marking not clearly visible’, the attached photo here shows the temporary traffic light causes further confusion to the driver coming from Cherwell Drive and going up the slope at Headley Way. The traffic light shows red if there are pedestrians crossing the road but shows green most of the time. The driver just described may see the green light as a signal to go ahead, not knowing that he or she is driving into a roundabout which is very unclearly marked (by a small white circle). A car coming from the right with the right of way can collide with his or her car.
