Roundabout marking not clearly visible
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 23:30, Mon 25 March 2019
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
A very small white circle on the tarmac is supposed to represent a roundabout, as seen in the first photo. A driver, especially a visitor and at night, may not notice the very small roundabout marking and drive through from the direction of the camera taking the photo. A car from the right, which has the right of way at this roundabout, can come into the roundabout at the same time and cause a collision. The second photo captures such an event of possible collision, with two cars coming into the roundabout area at the same time. The Give Way sign may be interpreted as in force for the car on the left lane; the car on the right lane may not see the Give Way sign and drives straight into the roundabout area colliding with the car coming from the right.

I have now had 3 separate incidents where a car coming down Headley Way has failed to stop at the 'virtual roundabout' and driven merrily through, narrowly avoiding colision with myself turning right onto Marston Road.
When will the traffic lights become operational?
