Dangerous lanes & road signs on roundabout

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:33, Mon 25 March 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

As described by other posts, taking the Barton exit from this roundabout is very dangerous. My car was hit yesterday by a driver taking the A40E, while I was taking the Barton turning. I had to point out the road markings to explain why they were in the wrong lane, as the current roundabout layout is very counter initiative and confusing. My housemate had also been hit in the same place. We take the middle lane wherever possible due to the danger, but this should not be necessary when the signs clearly say you can take the left or middle lane to Barton.
