Tactile paving probably not long enough

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 18:26, Monday 18 March 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The tactile paving at the traffic light crossing opposite glanville road may not be long enough. It was a year or two ago that I stopped to help someone who could not see very well back onto the pavement. They had crossed the road from Glanville Rd direction on the crossing and then turned right towards the bus stop. What they did was walk back onto the road as there is a dog-leg in the pavement. At the time the tactile paving did not seem to be reaching far enough. Not sure if you have changed anything there, but today's google doodle reminded me that the council should probably try to make it safer for blind people.
