  • Ref: 351107 Thank you for reporting this outage for an Electrical asset maintained by Oxfordshire County Council. Reports of this kind are vital to assist us in keeping the County in light.

    We have logged your report on our asset management system and we hope to get this repaired as soon as possible. Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach. Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.

  • This was reported over two months ago and has still not been fixed. The road is in complete darkness during the evenings and overnight, posing a potential security risk to individuals and property. Why the delay in fixing this?

  • Thank you for the report, im sorry to say our contractors attended on 15/3/2019. Sorry it wasnt repaired on the first visit, we have to rely on the public to inform us of outages at present, we will raise this now and ensure its left in a working condition, sorry again and thank you for the report, the fault ref 00354388.
