Trees leaning over the carriageway
Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 13:16, Friday 1 March 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
The trees on the stretch of road are leaning over at a dangerous angle, high vehicles are using the opposite carriageway as the trees catch the top of the vehicles. On several occasions in the past 2 months a large amount of debris has been left on the road after a vehicle has struck a tree. This need to be looking at as a matter of urgency, as this road is well used.

This still has not been resolved, as the trees near the 2nd bridge is still broken and leaning, and the tree next to it has been broken off as it was in the road

The trees are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. We have sent correspondence to the landowner, advising them of the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.
