Faded road markings/bad accident record

Reported anonymously at 21:10, Thursday 28 February 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 5 minutes later

Junction Warbrough Road, New Road, Thame Road on the bend adj to Wheeler's End cottage: There have been at least two accidents recently on this corner. One has cause damage to street signs and the other was a shunt. Suggested that the condition of the road surface may have been a factor in at least one of them as, despite the speed limit, traffic can go around this corner too fast. Perhaps anti-skid on this corner might help ( as seen on the nearby Plough Corner in New Road) plus a review of the centre line markings on the road (badly faded and may be not allowing guidance around the bend - despite the chevron sign!) and the junction markings generally (also faded in places). Please can you review this corner generally. Photo shows view from the corner towards New Road. Many Thanks
