Chopped down branches and twigs all over the footpath

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 07:28, Wed 27 February 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Recently the lighting engineers chopped down branches adjacent to a street light . Instead of removing them , there were left lying over the footpath. The result is now that the whole area (paved and grassed) Between Brode Close Pykes Close and the LIndsay Drive footpath is covered with branches and twigs causing a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists

  • Will this be dealt with anytime soon? Surely lighting contractors have a responsibility to clear away any debris they create when dealing with lighting issues? Or does that part of the work come under a different department??
