Blocked drains
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 18:58, Tue 26 February 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Trenchard Avenue has not seen a road cleaning vehicle for a couple of years, the drains are so blocked that when it rains the road floods. There is mud, leaves all piled high along the road from the corner in both directions. Also the footpath is a mess and when it was cold became very slippery. This has been like this for a few months. As the roundabout floods I would have thought it would be important to keep Milton Heights clear of debris, thank you

Hi, the attached pics are 3 weeks apart taken on 13 March and 4 April. The drain on the corner of Trenchard corner is still blocked, it is extremely dangerous as the water is so deep it is forcing cars on to the wrong side of the road on a notorious blind bend! For further info, it seems this issue only started happening in early March after water mains work was carried out further up the road on the corner of Trenchard Ave/Milton Hill I assume for the new housing development there. I have lived in Milton Heights for 16 years and have never seen this issue until now so something has happened.

Excessive flooding in Trenchard Avenue by the salt bin opposite number 17. Flooding is so bad, residents from Home Farm Trust wanting to cross the road to go down the zig-zag path are having to cross further away from the apex of the corner greatly reducing their line of sight for traffic leaving Milton Heights - DANGEROUS!!!

Road Gully opposite 17 Trenchard Avenue, Milton Heights, Oxfordshire is blocked and is causing the road to flood on a blind bend. This is also a pedestrian crossing point for people with special needs to walk down the zig zag path to the milton interchange. it has been like it for some months now and is dangerous to both car and pedestrian users.
