New street light in Corbett Road is super bright white light and angled to point at my house (62 Alvescot Road)

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

A new light has been put in at the junction with Corbett Road and Alvescot Road.

It seems rather than pointing down onto street it is angled / configured to point at my house, this floods front bedrooms with light at night so we cannot sleep - it is like an Alien Abduction movie scene.

The original lights give a lower intensity yellow light which illuminates the street below, the new on if far brighter and not directed correctly.

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
