Incorrect lane markings are dangerous
Reported via iOS in the Highway Schemes category by steve j at 22:44, Friday 22 February 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
On approaching from Langford village lane 3 indicates straight on. However the road number is for the right turn into Bicester town. On Wednesday I was in lane 2 heading towards the new Tesco, with a car in lane one and a van in 3. When the van swept into my lane, almost causing an accident had I not braked sharply. It appears that the road markings are misleading or incorrect. Please review as a matter of urgency

The situation is that those in lane 1 (left most lane) as approaching from Langford village is left turn only. Then lane 2 becomes lane 1 after the alysbury turnoff and lane 3 is then split into lanes 2 straight on (Tesco) and 3 right Bicester village station.
