Speeding cars due to speed bumps not replaced

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 21:40, Thursday 21 February 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Howard road had the speed bumps removed several years ago whilst it was resurfaced and they have never been replaced. The road is used as a rat run to avoid queuing traffic in Middleton road and the speeds a lot of the cars travel at are extremely excessive 40/50 mph There have been a number of near misses and it's only a matter of time before there is a serious accident. School children have to cross the road to get to St Leonard's and it is dangerous. This is not the first time I have reported this and I was told they would be replaced last year.

  • The speed cars travel along this road is frightening if they aren't controlled there will be a a terrible incident, children use this road to get to school and commuters use it as a rat run to the train station , please replace the speed bumbs that were removed when the street was re tarmaced before someone suffers a serious injury
