Leaking foul sewer in public highway

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 17:16, Wednesday 20 February 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

A small manhole is leaking foul water that is running down the road into the station car park. The manhole is in the public highway outside of the station entrance. This has been here for a while and has not been repaired, despite the obvious health hazard.

  • I beg to differ. There is CLEARLY a leak as shown on the photo with this report taken on 13th March 2019. There is a drain cover that is clearly leaking water that has a 'scum' or film on it. If it is not rain water, or drinking water, it can only be foul water. If you inspected during wet weather then the leak is not visible. I dry weather it clearly is. As of today 4th April 2019, the cover is STILL leaking and running doiwn into the station access. Please take action.
