Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
On Friday 7 Feb I was travelling in BMW 740d on the A4421 from Buckingham towards Bicester .At about 6 pm, travelling at 45 mph, I struck the above pothole .I could tell that the front nearside wheel had hit the pothole violently. Once on the A34 and increasing my speed to 70mph,. there was a significant vibration through the steering wheel. The wheel was subsequently examined by ATS Tyre services in Andover and declared as 'buckled' A new has a replacement cost of £650. I was unable to go back to the site immediately. However I revisited the site on Saturday 16th Feb and took the attached photos.
