100m stretch of road in awful condition.
Reported via Android in the Pothole category by Chris Paul at 20:26, Sun 17 February 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later
Cope from from the junction of Southam Road to the fire station. There are numerous large potholes and exposed drain edges. Really dangerous. Damaging cars. One hole was repaired a short time ago but all the tarmac has now come out and hole is bigger than before.

There is a flood from a drain just opposite the dry cleaners and accountants on the Southam Road although postcode is OX16 2EH. This was reported months ago and apparently fixed however whenever it rains the flood reappears and is causing anyone walking past to get soaked from passing traffic.

Last night I twisted my ankle as a result if this pot hole on Cope Rd. It was 8.30pm. I was on my own (female) with two heavy bags that I was carrying from work. I heard and felt, a crunch in my ankle and fell to the floor in agony. I had to go to hospital. As I do not have any money, or friends here in Banbury my only option was to call 111 who said an ambulance was required. I could not walk. I waited over an hour and did not get out of hospital unti 00:18. I was due to start my new job today but have been unable to, as I have torn the ligaments in my foot! Although the pot hole is huge, it was dark and the Rd is not lit well. I didn't see it and I was rushing to get home to get ready and prepared for my new job. Now, I am at home losing money and my job may have been jeopardized because of this terrible pot hole which is only one of a few on Cope Rd.

Just received an email to say this has been fixed...The drain and raised curb opposite the dry cleaners has not been fixed. When ever it rains the path floods and absolutely soaks anyone walking past. I think the road where someone hurt themselves up Cope Road may have been fixed but at the bottom of cope road and on Southam road opposite dry cleaners has not been fixed, the curb is damaged and drain not working ..
