Grass verges have been distributed by vehicles parking on them, the major one was caused because cars are being parked on the corner of the close and the bin lorry has no room to reverse into the close. The lady has a drive way but does not use it, she can have up to 3 vehicles parked along a small foot pp athletic/verge.

Grass verge is being used as a car park, cars are being parked in a dangerous area of the close, this causes large vehicles a problem when trying to enter the close. This has happened for the last 4weeks but has been a problem for a while, it's got worse since others have moved into a property and brought more cars, vans, recovery truck.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately Oxfordshire County Council, Highways do not have any powers that enable us to enforce parking issues in the Didcot area. I can only suggest speaking to the Police on their 101 non emergency number, as they do have enforcement powers in the right circumstances, to seek their advice/assistance. Sorry I cannot be of more help with this report, which is now closed.
State changed to: No further action
