Malfunctions in traffic lights sensoric system. Often red light for main road for now reason. Creates traffic during peak hours.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Traffic light on Southam Road and Beaumont Road T junction. Traffic lights are still turning red on Southam Road without any cars waiting on Beaumont Road. This creates unnecessary traffic backlogs and start/stops. Rough estimation that current operation is about 1 to 3 during peak hours (1 car from Beaumont, 3 cars from Southam). However Southam road is 20 times more busy that Beaumont. Also Southam is A road and Beaumont road connection is just one of the exits from the industrial estate so the loads on those are incomparable. I believe this issue was there all the time but with traffic getting heavier every couple of months it becomes more obvious that the fix for that is needed. Can you please get the functionality checked on this traffic light. Thank you for your cooperation.
