Marlow Road pavements covered with rotting leaves and mud.
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:45, Wed 13 February 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
The pavements are narrow, clogged with dead leaves etc. and mud. This is worst by the entrance to the public footpath to the river which is used by dog walkers and members of the rugby club who deposit mud all over the pavement which, when wet, is especially hazardous. Walking into Henley means filthy dirty shoes and boots after every visit. Elderly people who come from Swiss Farm Park Home site are especially vulnerable. It would be lovely if the pavement could be cleared right back to the iron railings or, failing that, as far as the tarmac will allow. The encroachment of debris has been going on, unchecked for years.

Thank you for your report. We have assessed it and found that it does not currently meet the criteria for intervention, so will not be fixing at this time. I will revisit when road works are completed to re assess section opposite rugby club entrance. Thank you.
