Sunken drain cover on A417 just before the 40mph speed warning sign.
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 13:35, Tue 12 February 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Pretty sure I've reported this before, quite some time ago. Problem has since got a whole lot worse.
As per subject header, there is a collapsed or sunken drain cover on the A417, just prior to the 40 mph illuminated warning sign. Got to be more than 8" deep, and nearly a foot in diameter.

Unbelievable!!!!
Reported in February, but has also been reported on a previous and earlier occasion too.
We're now in MAY (3 months on), and still nothing has been done apart from some marker paint sprayed around it some weeks ago.

It's now June,
Hazell & Jefferies have redressed the road with loose chippings. Sorry, bodged it.
As well as not rectifying the drain reported above, H&J have also tarred and chipped over several potholes along this stretch of road without first filling in the potholes!!!

Unbelievable as it seems, someone has finally fixed it.
I note though that it is no longer a drain as someone has deposited a large helping of tar over it, completely removing the drain. Let's hope that there are still enough drains remaining to prevent flooding!!!!
