Blocked drains at Pelican Crossing causing very large puddles

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:04, Tuesday 12 February 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The drain grids that run along the dropped kerb for the pedestrian crossing are completed blocked with debris. This is preventing rainwater from draining and causing very large, deep puddles that extend about 1 metre into the road. On a wet day vehicles cannot avoid the water and water is splashed onto pedestrians waiting to cross. It is particularly bad on the west side of the crossing, adjacent to Thorncliffe road.
