Very long "all red" sessions are causing huge traffic tailbacks at busy times

There are 2 separate issues. The delay when the pedestrian lights come on is a little long but the delay on the light change is between 10 and 15 seconds when the pedestrian light not being used. This is causing delays going back 200-300 metres at busy times.
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Traffic Signals. I’ve reviewed the junction operation and found it to be working as intended and without any faults. We can confirm that the ‘intergreen’ period to and from the Pedestrian Stage is 10 & 8 seconds respectively, which is in line with the guidance given by the Department for Transport.
