Damaged verge due to location and repeated parking on verge

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:39, Monday 11 February 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Due to work carried out on our road and the ongoing use of it as a parking place for hospital staff and students we have people parking outside our property daily - which is fine as it is a public road.

Due to the position of our property (opposite a junction) and because people park both sides every day and the width of the road people park right up on the verge and repeated parking is causing severe damage with no break which means it doesn't have any time to get better.

The other side of the road has recently been improved which means this "verge" parking doesn't cause damage.

As our side of the road was not repaired and with repeated parking on it the verge is now is a really bad state and getting worse. I attach photos of the side that was recently repaired and then the patch outside our house. Please can you advise what we can do to get this addressed as whilst I appreciate anyone can park there and I don't have an issue with that it's now very unsightly and means a lot of mud is getting brought into our house

Thanks in advance for anything you can do to help on this matter
