Ref: 350545 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

I reported this issue since last week and still the light has not been fixed. All the close is in completely darkness as a result. This is the only light at the close.

Thank you for your report, this is an open fault on our management system, we have recently appointed a new term time contractor who is currently in the process of attending and repairing the outstanding faults left from the transition from the previous contractor. They are working on an area based approach and will attend as soon as possible.

19 days since I reported the issue with the street light in Saxel Close by numbers #25, #27 & #29 and still has not been fixed. This is the only lamp post in this part of the close which means that the close is completely darkness.

Oxfordshire County Council have recently appointed new term maintenance contractors to manage our electrical highway assets within Oxfordshire, however they are currently dealing with a small backlog of outstanding faults from the transition from the old contractor to the new. Our aim is to get as many faults as possible rectified, however this will be based on an area approach. Apologies for any inconvenience caused while this asset is out of operation.
Kind regards The Electrical – Lighting Team

Lamp is still not working. I don’t think anyone is too interested in the issues arising from the transition of MTC. It is hoped that they perform better than Carillion did. Surely you can simply programme this in and at least advise of a date of repair.

Thank you for your update, our contractors are working on an area basis but unfortunately we are unable to provide a date at this time. They are managing to get many faults resolved and will attend as soon as possible
