Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:23, Friday 8 February 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

There's a pothole - already identified and marked on the highway - by a sewer grate. It's on the Chinnor bound side of the highway and is quite large and encourages drivers to swerve to avoid it... towards oncoming vehicles.

It's been marked by OCC (?) for months. Why has it not yet been fixed?

  • It looks like the markings to repair this defect have worn off while it has been ignored and not fixed, it is still here and still dangerous. I observed a cyclist try to dodge it and not swerve into traffic that was overtaking them.
