  • Ref: 350162 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

  • Thank you for your report, this is an open fault on our management system, we have recently appointed a new term time contractor who is currently in the process of attending and repairing the outstanding faults left from the transition from the previous contractor. They are working on an area based approach and will attend as soon as possible.

  • A new bulb was installed at the junction of Vane Road and Pelham Road. This is a white light (unlike the usual yellow) and is extremely bright for a residential area. Is there a reason for this?

  • Thank you for updating this report and your enquiry to us and sorry to hear your concerns. Unfortunately the existing lantern had failed. More manufactuers are now only making an LED lantern so parts for existing types are becoming obsolete. We now have a policy to replace failed lanterns where no parts are available with an LED alternative. The new lantern has a lower output and helps reduce our carbon footprint. Im sorry to hear that this feels bright for the road, if it causes issue we may be able to re angle this to try and stop any glare. Sorry again
