Bad phasing of traffic lights by Williams Factory

Reported in the Traffic Lights (temporary only) category anonymously at 14:39, Tuesday 22 January 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Long queues north and southbound on the A338 by Williams factory due to temporary traffic lights which need to be manually operated. Last week we did not have the same issues. It took over 30 mins this morning to do go through. Phasing of the lights need to be re-looked at and done manually.

  • Whilst it is now only a two way traffic the lights are not regulated manually like the previous road works. Queues of over 30 mins at 7am is not really acceptable. Why can they no be operated in the same manner as the previous roadworks???

  • Long queues because the traffic by Williams are now a 3 way for some unknown reason. Today 15/4 is holiday but next week it will be chaos. They should have finished by now, instead they are moving very slow. Totally and utterly unacceptable.
