Installing a speed camera

Reported anonymously at 10:40, Tuesday 22 January 2019

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

I have been asked by one of your advisers to contact you via this email address.

I am looking for information as to the process of having a Speed Camera installed along Springfield Avenue Banbury Oxon.

This road does have road speed bumps, however these do not deter people speeding along this road which for many years has become a “rat run” from the main Bloxham road through to Bodicote.

There is a heavy use of pedestrians from residents and the the two largest schools in Banbury.

It is a matter of time before someone is injured or worse.

I have contacted Thames Valley Police, and they inform that I needed to contact yourselves.
