School run parents illegally parking
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:30, Monday 21 January 2019
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
Every single school day, parents from Wood Farm Primary School are parked illegally in the HQ Area residents parking spaces. They park on pavements, across people's driveways and on corners, and are aggressive when asked to move from across a driveway.
This is the third time I have reported this on Fixmystreet. The first time the council tried to say they are not responsible for parking enforcement, it's the police's duty (a complete lie, the County Council ARE responsible for enforcement of on street parking in Oxford). The second time they said they had reported it to the relevant dept. (Another blatant lie, nobody has dealt with this).
Maybe the County Council can tell me why are they so scared of upsetting these parents that the parents are allowed to get away with illegal and dangerous parking?
